As we know, the Lakers got some work to do in order to be the Lakers again and if this rumor is legit and eventually happens, that’ll be a step in the right direction.
According to TheBrooklynGame.com the Lakers have an interest in flailing Brooklyn PG Deron Williams.
Honestly. I can find this happening. Not like Kevin Love, that’s just overhyped yapping from too many keyboard warriors. This is a feasible rumor that can actually pick up speed.
Now in terms of contract. Lakers obviously have some cap space to play with, Williams is owed $19.8 Million next season. Quite a pill to swallow considering Deron has been lacklustre in Brooklyn compared to his days in Utah.
As it is for most players, Williams controls his own destiny. Whether he stays in Brooklyn or goes to LA. He’ll need to bring back Utah Williams, because Brooklyn Williams isn’t cutting it.
