
The Utah Jazz announced today that the they have waived guard Toure’ Murry.
6-5, 195, Wichita State product, Murry was originally signed as a free agent on Aug. 28 by the Utah Jazz and appeared in just one regular season game for the Jazz. He also had two assignments with the Jazz in their NBA Development League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede from Nov. 13-Dec. 2 & Dec. 31-Jan 3, where he played seven games for the Stampede and started 6 out of those 7 games. He averaged 13.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals in 31.3 minutes of paying time.
The Jazz roster is now down to 14 players as they sit 3rd last in the wild Western Conference with a 12-22 record. The Jazz are 6-4 in their last 10 games with a road win last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves and they look to continue their winning ways as they take on the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
