At the beginning of the year, Toronto’s own, Tory Lanez, released his sophomore album, Memories Don’t Die. The eighteen track album shot all the way up to number three on the Billboard 200 charts thanks to records like “B.I.D“, “Pieces”, “Shooters” and features from 50 Cent, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Future and Nav. Shortly after the album was released, Lanez took to Twitter to hint at the possibility of a Spanish album to come later in 2018. Today, we got the first glimpse at what a Tory Lanez Spanish album would look like.
His new song, “Pa Mi”, featuring Ozuna showcases Lanez speaking entirely in Spanish. Tory Lanez sings, “Cuando la vi en el medio del baile/Bailando pa’ mi, en el medio del baile/Tú eres la mujer que yo tengo que conocer/Tú eres con la que yo me puedo ver.” On the hook, Lanez sings, “Lo siento, mamacita, esta noche/Tú eres bonita Esta noche yo te quiero pa’ mí,” If you’re unfamiliar with what Lanez is saying, don’t worry. I don’t know what he’s saying either, but I do know that the song sounds pretty good.
Tory Lanez upcoming Spanish album is titled El Agua, which means water. Fans can expect the album in the second half of 2018 and they can catch him on his Memories Don’t Die tour, which will run throughout the summer.
