The Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey and Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger have been named Eastern Conference and Western Conference Coaches of the Month of November. Dwane Casey led his young Toronto Raptors team to 13-4 in the month of November beating some tough teams like the Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and Phoenix Suns. Both coaches led both teams to become two of the only teams in the NBA to be in both the top 10 offensive and defensive ratings.

Realistically these two coaches have been very impressive so far, the Toronto Raptors have been a pleasant surprise. They did have an easy schedule (You may say), but they seemed impressive in all their games, and also are the #1 team in the NBA in 4th quarter efficiency. Looking ahead the Raptors have a hard schedule and they go on the road for a while too, this will be especially tough since they will be missing their All-star DeMar DeRozan and leading scorer. The Raptors will have to learn how to deal without him on both the offensive and defensive end, for 4-6 weeks.
The Memphis Grizzlies are looking scarier every game they play, it seems like the combination of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol is seemingly unstoppable and Mike Conley looks like an All-star he always was. The team is cooking. They look to expand on their record this month as well.
