Topher Grace has reportedly joined the cast of Chris Rock’s developing directorial feature at A24. Grace joins a cast that includes Rock, Rosalind Eleazar, Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, and Anna Kendrick as the film continues production in Los Angeles, California. According to a report from Deadline, the yet-to-be-titled feature is about ” Misty Green, a gifted actress with a derailed career until someone from her past offers her a chance at a comeback.”
Many know Grace as That 70s Show‘s Eric Forman or Spider-Man 3’s Eddie Brock. However, over the last year or so, he’s carved out a role in a new hit show, The Waterfront. In addition, he’s landed roles in Hereditary and Flight Risk alongside Mark Wahlberg. Moving forward, not only is he set to star in a new feature film from Chris Rock, but he’s also set to star in John Patton Ford’s Huntington with Glen Powell, Ed Harris, Margaret Qualley, Jessica Henwick, and Zach Woods.
Grace will work with Rock, who has often found success in directing his own feature films. Throughout his career, he’s starred in and directed films like Head of State, I Think I Love My Wife, and Top Five. Now, he’ll make his debut with A24, the studio behind Moonlight and Ex Machina.
