Today, Paramount and Skydance unveiled the first look at Top Gun: Maverick. According to The Hollywood Reporter, there was a “sizzle reel that showed a photo of Tom Cruise as Maverick, in a flight jacket, standing at a locker.” In addition, there was also a photo of Cruise on a motorcycle beside a fighter jet. Alongside Tom Cruise, the cast is set to include Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and many more. Top Gun: Maverick will focus on drone tech making the pilot’s old style of flying obsolete.
The future Hollywood blockbuster is set to hit theaters on June 26th 2020. Other major Paramount releases include Sonic the Hedgehog, Terminator: Dark Fate and many more. Unfortunately, CinemaCon doesn’t allow cameras, but photos will be released in the coming months.
