
Tom Steyer has decided to end his campaign to become the next President of the United States. Steyer made his decision public during a campaign event in Columbia, South Carolina tonight.
“Honestly, I can’t see a path where I can win the presidency,” Steyer said.
The billionaire and climate activist is projected to finish third in tonight’s South Carolina primary. Despite it being his best finish thus far, it’s not enough to keep him in the race.

“Am I going to continue to work on every single one of these issues?” he asked rhetorically.
“Yes, of course I am. I’ve never stopped,” he answered.
One of the issues that Trump has been a staunch advocate of is Trump’s impeachment. Prior to announcing his decision to run for President of the United States, he bought $10 million in television ads. It is unclear whether or not he will endorse the Democratic nominee or sit the remainder of the race out.
