Tom Cruise has made a surprise appearance in Ukraine to meet with President Zelensky. As reported by Deadline, Cruise met with the Ukraine official because he is interested in shooting a film there in the future.
Zelensky’s office stated, “The President of Ukraine told the guest about his own experience in cinema.”
A video of their encounter was later released as well. Zelensky stated, “You’re good-looking! Like in a movie.” Cruise replied, “It pays the rent.”
Somehow, even Tom Cruise is now caught up in the Ukraine scandal.

President Zelensky has been tight lipped in the last week despite being at the center of the ongoing impeachment probe of Donald Trump. Trump is accused of withholding resources from the European country unless they agreed to help investigate former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. The New York businessman turned politician has denied any wrongdoing involving the matter.
Cruise has not publicly commented on the matter yet.
