5-foot-9. Last pick in the NBA Draft. Second-leading scorer in the NBA. Multiple-time All-Star. Face of the Boston Celtics. Isaiah Thomas is the man in Boston. Perhaps the only bigger star in Beantown right now is the greatest quarterback to ever throw a football, Tom Brady. Brady, fresh off of leading the Patriots to the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history, texted Isaiah Thomas, letting him know that he’s up next:
Isaiah Thomas says Tom Brady texted him after the Super Bowl and said, "It's your turn next."

Brady intends to play in New England for “a long time.” The Patriots reportedly believe that the five-time champion, who will turn 40 in August, has 3-5 seasons left.
Thomas once said that he would love to pick Brady’s brain. Now, Thomas is such a Boston hero that Brady texted him after winning Super Bowl MVP. The success of Isaiah Thomas really is the ultimate rags-to-riches story.
Brady got together with the Celtics this summer in an attempt to sell Kevin Durant on coming to Boston. While Durant, who reportedly came close to signing with the Celtics, ended up signing with the Golden State Warriors instead, it’s great to see that Thomas and Brady have maintained a relationship.
Thomas, who is having a historically good season for the Celtics, averages 29.9 points and 6.4 assists per game.
