Last season, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady went through the motions and managed to get his four game suspension removed and played the entire 2015 season without missing a game. He was facing a suspension due to his reported involvement in the ‘deflategate’ scandal but nothing came out of it.
It appeared that the situation was over but the NFL did file a motion with the U.S. appeals court in an attempt to reinstate Brady’s four game suspension and after a long awaited ruling, the decision is here. Brady’s suspension is back on.

A U.S. appeals court on Monday restored the four-game “Deflategate” suspension of New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady over allegations footballs were under inflated before an NFL playoff game last year.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York reversed a federal judge’s ruling from September. The appeals court ruled that in imposing the suspension, National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell properly exercised his discretion under a collective bargaining agreement.
The Patriots first four games are against the Arizona Cardinals on the road in week one, and then three straight home game against the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills.
