John Legend and Miguel have signed on to perform during the Together, At Home: WHO-Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions. The virtual music festival will feature performances from John Legend and Miguel as well as Chris Martin, Jhené Aiko, Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello and Charlie Puth. The event serves as a way to substitute the number of live concerts, tours and festivals that have been cancelled or postponed because of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I'll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We'll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome https://t.co/YZ8Y1W8esc

“As entertainers, we want to entertain you guys and we want to help everybody get through this,” Legend said.
In recent weeks, music fans have witnessed the cancellation of SXSW and Coachella. Meanwhile, festivals like Rolling Loud and the Roots Picnic seemed destined to meet a similar fate. Health officials have indicated that social distancing measures may need to remain in effect through July or August. As a result, it come be ten or twelve weeks before we hear from our favorite artists live.
In the meantime, the #TogetherAtHome festival is the next best solution to these mass cancellations.
