On Sunday evening, The Recording Academy celebrated the last twelve months in music at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. During the ceremony, the show honored the work of H.E.R, Chloe x Halle and a number of other artists through the “Best New Artist” category. Dua Lipa ended up taking this year’s hardware home, but there are a number of artists already looking to reign victorious next February. One of the many acts looking to make a major breakthrough this year is Houston’s own, Tobe Nwigwe.

Tobe Nwigwe is poised to make big moves in 2019. This Spring, Tobe Nwigwe will venture out on his first nationwide tour. During the tour, the Houston native will make stops in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles and many more big cities. In addition, he’ll make his debut at the Broccoli City Festival on a lineup that includes Donald Glover and Lil’ Wayne.
