As we were expecting, Tink has released her first single, ‘Ratchet Commandments’ off of her debut album.
Produced by Timbaland – who says TInk’s album is probably the best album he has done since Aaliyah’s ‘One In A Million’ – the record takes a page out of the late great Biggie Smalls book as he did ‘Ten Crack Commandments’
The message behind the record is portrayed throughout the song as Tink addresses a lot of issues that go on with females and their ‘ratchet’ ways;
‘Thou shall not.. lie up on the bible/ How you lookin for a title if you sleepin with his rival’
then she proceeded to say a couple lines later..
‘I thought we had some young queens what you mean? We act belligerent generation of ignorance/ bitches live for the ‘gram so they life has no significance..’
Now lets not get it twisted, Tink definitely let the fellas know we, well not me but yeah the ones out there who this applies to, that they have ratchet ways as well;
‘But niggas lyin on their money like everyday/and niggas ratchet too just in another way..
you fake fathers never held your daughters never had a conversation/ you too fucking immature to get an occupation”
If you’re not familiar with the 19 year old Chicago sensation, you need to get familiar because she is something special.
