Muhammad, who will be a restricted free agent this summer, was previously represented by Rob Pelinka, who quit his job as an agent to become general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Paul represents a number of other NBA players including LeBron James, Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith, John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ben Simmons.
Muhammad, a fourth-year player out of UCLA, played 19.4 minutes per game for Minnesota this year, averaging 9.9 points and 2.8 rebounds on 48.9 percent shooting from the field, 33.6 percent from beyond the arc and a career-high 77.4 percent from the free throw line.
Muhammad was selected 14th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. Muhammad was a star in his lone year at UCLA, averaging 17.9 points per game. He was named Pac-12 co-freshman of the year, along with Arizona’s Jahii Carson.
Muhammad is relatively young, possesses elite athleticism and is a capable shooter. He could command a fairly large contract this summer.
