Former Denver Bronco and New York Jet quarterback Tim Tebow is working out for the Eagles. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the story Monday.
Tim Tebow has come and gone from Philadelphia. Team is not planning to sign him at this time. We’ll see if anything changes.

Head coach Chip Kelly has been making mercurial moves this offseason. At this point can we really believe anything that Chip Kelly says at this point? Tebow is one of the most decorated collegiate athletes ever so Kelly’s interest makes sense on the surface. Chip obviously scouted Tebow during his time as a college coach at Oregon. Nevertheless Tebow has never given up on a NFL comeback. Tebow had this to say after New England cut him back in 2013.
“I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback,”
If Tebow were to join the Eagles there would be quite the crowded quarterback room. Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, and Sam Bradford are already on the roster. With the possible addition of Marcus Mariota it would seem the Tebow signing is unlikely. If the Eagles were to add Tebow it would presumably be in a situational package role.
