Tim Roth is the latest addition to the cast of Selma.
According to Deadline, the actor will play Alabama governor George Wallace in the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. biopic.
Wallace was a supporter or racial segregation, who racist antics led King to organize the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery.
The events spurred President Lyndon B. Johnson’s famous statement that formed the foundation of the Civil Rights Act.
David Oyelowo will play Dr. King, while Tom Wilkinson will portray President Johnson.
Selma is yet to announce a release date.
