Tim Duncan has had a long career full of championships (5 to be exact), and he has made the playoffs in 17 of his 18 seasons. Along the way, Tim has moved up some leader boards full of all-time greats such as the all-time playoff scoring list, where he ranks 5th all time and is the 5th player to score 5,000 playoff points.
Today against the Clippers, Duncan moved himself up another one of these leader boards, the leader board for most playoff games played where all he had to do was show up. It was his 238th playoff game, slotting him ahead of NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The two players left for him to pass now are Robert Horry (244 playoff games played) and Derek Fisher (259 playoff games player). Tim Duncan will pass Horry this season if the Spurs beat the Clippers in round one, but he may not be able to pass Derek Fisher this season. If he returns next season though, he very likely could find himself at the top of this list.
