Tim Duncan is taking on his toughest opponent of his career, father time! Father time is undefeated so far, but Duncan is defying all odds at 38 years old. Duncan last night had a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, & 10 assist to beat the Grizzlies breaking the Memphis home winning streak of 22 games. Duncan became the 2nd oldest player ever to have career triple-double at 38 years old
The oldest players to have a triple-double:
Karl Malone: 40 years old
Tim Duncan: 38 years old and 224 days
Elvin Hayes: 38 years old and 147 days
Jason Kidd: 37 years old
Tim Duncan won a championship last year. Everybody will overlook Duncan because of Manu, Parker, Kawhi, & Coach Gregg Popovich. Duncan was the MVP of the playoffs and the Spurs, because when it mattered he shows up especially in overtime games. Duncan just has a heart of a champion and is defying father time. If Tim Duncan keeps this up he will have to change his current nickname from “The Big Fundamental” to the “Ageless Wonder”.
