Tim Duncan has always maintained he would be a “Spur for life” and now he – and the franchise – have made it certain. The future Hall-of-Famer and the Spurs agreed to a new three-year deal that will see Duncan get paid $36 million, the deal also includes a no-trade clause.
Duncan averaged 15.4 points and 9.0 rebounds last season as the Spurs reached the Western Conference Finals only to lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
