Tim Duncan never seems to amaze me. Duncan’s game is legendary. Some would argue the best power foward and best of his generation. When you think about class, dignity, respected, role model, & a player who carries himself with honor on and off the court one man comes to mind Tim Duncan. START is clinic based out of San Antonio, TX and is spreaded all over the world. START’s missison is to develop new anticancer drugs through research. Tim Duncan just donated $247,000 to the START clinic for phase I of the development of the anticancer drug that will be tested for advancement stages.
Dr. Anthony Tolcher (director of clinical reseach for START) talks about the generestioty of Duncan’s donation:
“I couldn’t have been more surprised and grateful,” said Dr. Tolcher, “This gift will benefit the people of San Antonio and demonstrates the commitment that Mr. Duncan has to this city and the people of San Antonio.”
San Antonio, TX should be proud to have Tim Duncan as thier honorary spokesman for their city and professional basketball team. I have never met one person that had one bad thing to say about Duncan. That should tell you all about his character and the way he goes about his business. I have nothing but respect for Tim Duncan before his big donation to the clinic, because of how he carries himself on and off the court. The fact that Tim is donating to START for a chance to make a break through to find a cure for a disease that has took millions of lives is heart warming. Whenever u see Duncan in the streets or on the basketball court thank him for doing his part to find a cure for cancer.
