This week Tiffany Haddish joined Billy Eichner on the streets of New York to recruit witches ahead of Halloween.
The duo appeared on the newest episode of Billy on the Streets, Eichner’s TruTV game show. In the show, Eichner hits the streets of New York to give people the chance to win money and other prizes by competing in pop culture-centric games.
Haddish and Eichner start this episode by introducing themselves as two of the witches who will appear in a fake Hocus Pocus reboot. “Tiffany and I are gonna play two of the three main witches and we’re about the hit the streets to find someone to play the third witch to round out our more diverse cast,” Eichner states. The two comedians then try to get people to join their remake.
One memorable interaction comes when Eichner exclaims, “We need Asian witches” as he approaches two people. Eichner learns that one of the women is both Chinese and a lesbian, he becomes excited and cheers “Yes, yes! Chinese lesbian witch,” before hugging the two women.
Another memorable moment comes when Eichner takes a break from ambushing pedestrians and gives Haddish the spotlight. “Her profile is growing. Please step aside. Miss Tiffany Haddish’s profile is growing. It’s growing,” Eichner exclaims as he shepherds pedestrians out of the way. The episode ends with Eichner urging viewers and pedestrians to vote in November.
