Since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, TIDAL has kept us updated with new content to keep us occupied while social distancing. Today, the entertainment streaming service is exclusively releasing “A Compton Story,” short film inspired from Jason “Problem” Martin.
TIDAL shared a preview of the short film on social media.
Martin is a Compton native and veteran songwriter for Snoop Dogg. He made a guest appearance on the Long Beach rapper’s album, Malice N Wonderland back in 2009. The Compton native, released his own project, S2 back in 2018 as well.
The short film is directed by the Compton native, narrated by comedian Mike Epps, and executive produced by TDE’s Punch. The comedy follows Problem as he risks life and limb in hopes that at least one good deed goes unpunished.
The hometown visual incorporates music from the rapper/songwriter, including his new single, “Don’t Be Mad At Me.”
The short film features appearances from Snoop Dogg, Jackie Long, RJ Cycler, Slink Johnson and more. You can stream the short film via TIDAL below.
