On Monday, September 30th, 2019, Tidal celebrated Latinx Heritage Month in Spanish Harlem. In celebration and honor of El Museo Del Barrio’s 50th anniversary, Tidal collaborated with the museum to commemorate the diversity of Latinx music.

“TIDAL is celebrating the beauty and diversity of Latinx music by focusing on its past, present and future,” said Jesús Triviño Alarcón, Director of Global Latin, Culture and Content at Tidal.

Tidal and El Museo Del Barrio welcomed all their guests with a cocktail hour to create a dope vibe before starting the show. Also to celebrate the 50th anniversary of El Museo Del Barrio with music and special guests.

Performances of the night featured rising Latinx singer/rapper Melli,Latin Urbano/R&B showman Rauw Alejandro, Grammy-nominated duo COASTCITY, and Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It),

Now until October 15th, TIDAL will have a series of curated playlists on Latinx artists that have made an impact on Latinx music.
