Tiana Major9 is on a roll at the moment. She’s been out and about dropping her latest project, At Sixes and Sevens, and hopping on Stormzy’s Heavy Is The Head. She also lent her soulful voice to Afropunk’s virtual festival, Planet Afropunk. Now, she’s dropping more visuals from At Sixes and Sevens.
The rising artist is starting off the month with the release of the “Same Space?” video. Throughout the video, she endures the ups and downs from fighting with her boyfriend to ultimately make up in the end.
“Tainted view of us/I find it hard to see/Anything that was/Good in you and me/I?hate?it when you?go/I’m happy when you leave/I go?through withdrawals/When I draw you close to me,” she sings.
“In the same space/Look for different results in the same space/How we gonna look for different results in the same space?/Oh, how if we’re in the same space?”
In addition to dropping her new video, Tiana Major9 is celebrating her first Grammy nod. She was nominated for work on “Collide” with EarthGang from the Queen & Slim soundtrack. Check out the video below and wait to see if she can bring home her first Grammy in 2021.
