
T.I. has quietly remained busy throughout much of 2018. The Atlanta legend has kept busy managing Grand Hustle and being a father. In addition, he’s kept fans entertained with his new BET series, The Grand Hustle. Not to mention, he put out two new singles and new video this month. His most recent single, “Jefe”, featuring Meek Mill is taking off as we speak. As the momentum builds for the Grand Hustle CEO, he has decided to announce the release date of his upcoming studio album.
The actor and TV host have taken the time this week to let fans know that his tenth studio album, The Dime Trap, will be released October 5th. In addition, T.I. also let fans know that the album will be narrated by the legendary comedian, Dave Chappelle. In the album’s trailer, the comedian can be heard saying, “All my life all I wanted to do was be great. If the stakes are everything, you’ll tell yourself anything you need to hear to survive.” He adds, “Everything I say is the truth. That’s a lie. That’s the motherfu*king truth.”
By releasing The Dime Trap, T.I. will join the likes of Styles P, Joel Ortiz, and Lil’ Wayne as one of the many respected emcees to drop a new project over the next three weeks. Watch the full trailer above.
