It’s been a few months since Thutmose first jumped on to our radar with his single, “Ride With Me”. As one of the earliest features on the First To The Aux series, Thutmose has continued to be one of the new artists to watch coming out of New York. Today, the Nigerian born artist proved why he deserved all of the hype by dropping his latest project, Man On Fire.
The new project from Thutmose features fifteen new tracks with production from Scott Storch, Killa Graham and many more. In addition, the new project features guest appearances from Jay Critch, Desiigner, Pink Sweat$, Alex Mali and Jalen Santoy. Early standouts from the project include his lead single, “Ride With Me” and “OkOk” featuring Desiigner.
When asked about the meaning of the project, Thutmose said, “When chaos ensues, it doesn’t matter what’s happening, you can still balance it out.” He later added, “That’s why on the cover I’m standing there on fire with my face showing no signs of distress.”
With all of the new music coming out, it’s hard to keep up. However, this is a new artist that should definitely be on your radar. Stream the new project from Thutmose and be sure to check out his First To The Aux feature from earlier this year.
