Collaborating in the past, Thundercat and Mr. Lamar are back together again, but this time it is in support of Thundercat’s forthcoming project. Releasing a new studio album, Drunk, the hit-maker is merely days away from the project’s release.
Already treating fans with pieces of what to expect, we now receive more as his Kendrick Lamar-assisted collaboration, “Walk On By,” has now surfaced. A mid-tempo with a throwback touch, “Walk On By” features every element that allows for listeners to get lost in the song. Featuring an amazing verse from Kendrick Lamar, you don’t have to worry about hearing anything remotely similar to his contributions to a few Pop tracks that he’s hopped on throughout last year.
