Carmelo Anthony is available. That’s no secret. It’s looking like he won’t be going to Cleveland, but the Clippers still look like a fairly viable option. The Oklahoma City Thunder are “intrigued” by the idea of pairing Anthony with star point guard Russell Westbrook, reports Sam Amico:
Would Carmelo Anthony accept trade to play next to Westbrook? #Thunder know possible pairing a long shot, but idea intrigues them, I'm told.

As Amico reported, this is a long shot. First of all, Anthony has a no-trade clause and would have to decide that it’s worth it. Playing with an electric superstar like Westbrook could be enough to persuade him, though.
A Westbrook-Oladipo-Roberson-Anthony-Adams lineup is actually somewhat intriguing, assuming that the Thunder would be able to keep all of those pieces in any potential deal. The Thunder do have a few young pieces of value (i.e. Cameron Payne, Domantas Sabonis) which they could possibly package together with a future draft pick or two for Anthony.
