Derek’s Fisher strange season will finally have some stability, he’ll play the remainder of the year with the team he finished last season with, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Fisher started last season with the L.A Lakers before they sent him to Houston during last year’s trade deadline. Houston waived him and OKC picked him up for the rest of the year. But they didn’t sign him after their run to the finals was over.
Fisher, 38, was picked up in late November by the Dallas Mavericks. He played just nine games with the club, before suffering a knee injury causing him to ask for his release. The Thunder traded guard Eric Maynor on Thursday, opening a spot for Fisher.
