Oklahoma City Thunder have not made a commitment to their reserve point guard, Reggie Jackson. In fact, they have made some moves to prepare themselves for the eventual departure of Jackson with the acquisition of Dion Waiters earlier this season to secure a guard to come off the bench to produce at possibly the same level Jackson has as well as keeping him around for long term security.
It seems like Jackson is done with the games and would like to be traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder after a season full of issues and problems with the team.

The agent for Oklahoma City guard Reggie Jackson has asked general manager Sam Presti to trade his client before Thursday’s NBA deadline, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
CAA’s Aaron Mintz made the request in the past seven to 10 days, and several teams around the league became aware as officials probed for information on potentially dealing for Jackson, league sources said.
Jackson, 24, has made it clear to the Thunder that he would be resistant to returning to the franchise should it keep him for the rest of the season and then decide to match an offer sheet in restricted free agency this summer
Jackson’s value is high and the Thunder won’t just let him walk for nothing. If they don’t find a deal, don’t be surprised that they just keep him and let him ride the season out on the bench. It would be hard though to find a team that doesn’t want Jackson if they need a point guard.
Teams like the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets could be interested in bringing in the point guard not only for the remainder of the season but for the foreseeable future.
