This is Us has now been delayed twice in three years. The NBC melodrama will be delayed by one week due to President Trump’s State of the Union. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that NBC will apparently bump the show’s next new episode from February 5th to February 12th in order to air the State of the Union live. This will obviously cause the rest of the episodes to move back one week, including the season finale which will now air April 2nd.
This is Us fans should be used to this by now though as a Trump speech also displaced the show by one week in 2017. NBC also announced that their new show, The Village, will air following This is Us starting on March 12th. Fans likely aren’t too pleased with the news though after the intense ending last left many salivating for more.
