Synopsis: A mother seeks the help of two priests after her daughter becomes possessed by a malevolent spirit.
Scare Factor: This little girl could have been cast in ‘Bad Grandpa’ with her foul mouth. ‘The Exorcist’ has kept its title of a horror classic due to its unnerving plot and vile appearance. Much of the content in the film pushed the boundaries of horror at the time including a scene which will having a different look at crosses the rest of your life. If that isn’t enough to have you hiding under the covers, maybe the rumors of the cursed movie set will. Nine people dying during the making of this film as well as the movie set mysteriously being caught on fire. I mean I am nervous my fingers might explode just typing this. If you didn’t believe in demons before, ‘The Exorcist’ will have you running to church to beg for forgiveness. I am sure electricity bills soared in 1973 after this movie was released.
