‘HOSTEL’ SERIES (2005-2011)

Synopsis: A group of three friends travel to Europe on a school trip but end up getting kidnapped for a pay to kill program for the rich.
Summary: After watching the ‘Hostel’ series you will probably feel safer couch surfing with someone you met off Craigslist than staying in an actual hotel. It is not the movie for you if you have a weak stomach or heart conditions. Chalk full of torture, gore and cannibalism, the series can be wildly entertaining if you enjoy a corpse filled slaughter fest. Even though each movie follows a formulaic plot, it never gets old as new torturous events lurk just around the corner. The film thrives on intensity and suspense as chainsaws rip heads and two and knives slit the feet of their victims. I would make sure you have bucket around if you plan on watching any film in the franchise. And there is a leg crossing event at the end of ‘Hostel 2’ that will be sure to have guys squirming in their seats.
