When former-MVP Derrick Rose went down with yet another knee injury this February, the city of Chicago let out a collective groan. The Bulls had looked to be title contenders this season, with Rose healthy, and Jimmy Butler playing at an all-star level.
Then Rose got hurt. Butler got hurt. It looked to be another injury-riddled, early-playoff-exit season for the Bulls.
Recently, however, things have been looking up for Chicago. They’ve won five of their last six games, and Jimmy Butler has played in each of the last three .
Now, per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, it appears that Rose may be close to returning as well
Bulls rested Gasol, Hinrich, Dunleavy and Brooks so Rose played 4 on 4.Thibodeau called him aggressive. Said him getting winded was expected

This is an excellent sign for the Bulls. Rose taking contact in practice is indicative of a timely return. Plus, According to Rose himself, he will be back soon.
Bulls fans should rejoice at hearing the word “aggressive” used to describe Rose. After all, once he is healthy, the only thing stopping him from playing at a superstar level is himself. If he can get healthy, play aggressively, and not worry about his knee, the Bulls will be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time.
