You can call them THEY. You can call them Dante Jones and Drew Love. You can also call them one of the best young groups in all of music. The duo best known as THEY has dropped their new project called Fireside. While it’s not considered to be a complete album, it comes with the same quality that an album would fave. The new project comes in with new music featuring Wiz Khalifa, Vic Mensa, Gallant, Jessie Reyes and many more. The new body of work from the California based duo also comes complete with previously released singles like “What I Know Now”, “Broken” and more.
When asked about the inspiration behind their new project, Drew Love said, “We wanted to show people what our sound was and what we’re able to do without the aid of all that extra stuff.” He also noted that their first project was “self-contained” and this project was to show the opposite.
Fireside is the group’s first project since their 2017 album, Nü Religion: Hyena. With a smooth sound that stays true to their brand, it’s clear that this is a project that you’ll want to give a few listens to this weekend.
