The Kentucky Wildcats once again pull off another close victory. The Wildcats were favored, but to see them pull together and make the run to the championship game like they did is nothing short of masterful. The journey these young Wildcats took to get here will be spoken about for years and deservingly so. And the coaching job by John Calipari should be applauded loudly in the state of Kentucky.
Aaron Harrison, Aaron Harrison, should be screamed from the highest mountains. The freshman came through again, and again in game-winning situations this tourney. Harrison managed to hit the same shot that propelled UK to the Final Four into the championship game. All you can do is marvel at these young cats and how they made this remarkable run.
Leading scorers from each team were James Young with 17 points (UK) and Sam Dekker with 15 points (WISC).
