Over the weekend, no pun intended, the artist formally known as The Weeknd was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas. The arrest stemmed from Abel Tesafey (The Weeknd) punching a cop in the head.
Tesafey was said to be in a fight at the Cromwell Hotel and the cops tried to intervene. While intervening The Weeknd was grabbed and put into an elevator to deescalate the situation or that is what the cop thought was going to happen. Subsequently Abel struck the cop in the head and reports say that he was arrested for battery of a protected person then taken to jail.
Since then he has post bail and took to his Instagram to show a picture of him leaving by walking to his private jet to board. “Escaped from Las Vegas”
In light of all the events going on with law enforcement there are some applauding the situation, what are your thoughts on the actions that have taken place?
