Netflix will release the second season of The Umbrella Academy on July 31, 2020.
“On October 1, 1989, seven extraordinary humans were born. On July 31, 2020 they return. Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy streams July 31, only on Netflix,” Netflix writes.
The entire cast made the announcement on Wednesday with a 1980’s themed dance video. As show by the video, Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman and the rest of season one’s cast will return for season two. In addition, Marin Ireland, Yusuf Gatewood and Ritu Arya will join the cast for season two.
Season two will feature ten episodes led by Steve Blackman. Blackman will also executive produce beside Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg and Jeff King.
