Bob’s Burgers will have a brief feature in the upcoming Family Guy-Simpsons crossover.
Family Guy’s season 13 premiere will see the Griffins head to Springfield on September 28.
Along with the characters from both Fox cartoons, Bob from Bob’s Burgers will also make a cameo appearance during the episode.
The new episode details were revealed by Fox’s comedy show-runners at the Television Critics Association press tour.
Family Guy producer Rich Appel explained that Simpsons writers were invited to read the script and offer creative input with their team.
“We sent them the script, and I think between Jim [Brooks], Matt [Groening] and Al [Jean], they had one or two lines in the hour-long episode they asked to tweak.
They gave us free reign.
Both cartoons have also announced a list of guest stars who will appear in their upcoming seasons.
The Simpsons will also air a crossover episode with Futurama later this year.
