Apple has released the first teaser for Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s The Morning Show. Starring Steve Carell alongside Aniston and Witherspoon, the show revolves around morning show co-anchors looking to maintain relevance in the changing media industry.
Despite the fact the teaser does not feature the show’s main characters, it does set the tone for what viewers can expect.
As the camera sneaks into the office of Carell’s character, Mitch Kessler, there is an uproar from critics and viewers about the show. In the background, Aniston says, “Guess what? America loves me.” Carell says, “I feel like people are screaming for honest conversation.” Witherspoon adds, “I think they want to know the person behind the facade.”
As previously reported, Aniston and Witherspoon’s latest project is currently set up for a two season deal. Each season will have ten episodes each.
The Morning Show will debut this fall on Apple+ exclusively. Unfortunately, the teaser does not provide a specific date. Furthermore, Apple has yet to determine a price point for their new streaming platform. In the meantime, check out the first teaser for the highly anticipated project.
