After a decade plus, New York City’s own The Lox are back with a brand new studio album. It comes as a breath of fresh air that the iconic trio have finally delivered on ‘Filthy America…It’s Beautiful’. The 12 track project comes just a few days after their announcement of joining Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
The announcement of joining Roc Nation was accompanied by the release of ‘What Else You Need To Know’ and ‘Don’t You Cry’. Just like the streets were rejoicing and couldn’t wait for the release of this new album. Well the wait is officially over. ‘Filthy America…It’s Beautiful’ is here and can be streamed on iTunes/Apple Music in its entirety.
The Lox third album which follows, ‘Money Power Respect’ and ‘We Are The Streets’ received feature contributions from Fetty Wap, Dyce Payne, Gucci Mane, Infa-Red and Mobb Deep. An interesting supporting case to say the least.
