‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition’ has received a DVD and Blu-ray release date.
Fans of the film can download their copy on October 22 and pick up a physical copy on November 4.
The special edition of the film will have 13 minutes of additional footage and over nine hours of bonus material which include commentary with Peter Jackson and ‘the making of’ type shorts.
This should tide fans over until the sequel ‘The Desolation of Smaug’ hits theaters on December 13.
