They’re back! Two months before season five of The Handmaid’s Tale is set to debut, Hulu has shared the first teaser for the upcoming season. As expected, season five will be as intense and gripping as the previous chapter.
“They want to fight? Let’s fight,” the teaser’s description reads.
“In Season 5, June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke, and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.”
The Handmaid’s Tale will not return to Hulu until September 14, 2022. In the meantime, fans of the hit series can get ready for season five by checking out the full teaser below.
