The Game recently announced that he was releasing the long awaited ‘The Documentary 2‘ which was scheduled originally for this Friday, September 25th but then he opted to push it back. The date in which The Game pushed his album back to is October 9, 2015 for disc 1 and for disc 2, October 16, 2015. I must say this is rather different and unique for a double disc album to release one week apart.
So far from the album we have heard records like ‘Ryda‘ featuring DeJ Loaf, ‘100‘ featuring Drake, ‘Dedicated‘ featuring Future & Sonyae and most recently ‘El Chapo‘ featuring Skrillex.
In his instagram post with the news of the ‘The Documentary 2’ being a double disc album, he explains the symbolism behind the discs being a red bandana and a blue bandana, outside of the obvious Blood and Crip meaning. He also gives us a brief history on the awareness he is trying to bring forth to the people in reference to gang banging and things of that sort. The album’s first disc is available for pre-order on iTunes and in total when it is all said and done, celebrating his 10th anniversary in style the album will be filled with 38 songs in total.
