André Holland stars in the first trailer for Netflix’s limited series, The Eddy. In the trailer, André Holland plays the role of Elliot Udo, a talented musician who leaves New York to manage a night club in France. As he makes the transition, he finds himself dealing with new troubles that replace those he left behind in New York. Balancing money problems, family issues and much more, Udo struggles to keep things from spiraling out of control.
“In this vibrant musical drama Elliot Udo, a once celebrated musician from New York, is running a small Jazz club called The Eddy in a multicultural neighborhood in modern-day Paris. He is struggling to keep the club open, manage the house band and deal with his past. When he finds out that his partner is involved in questionable business practices things start to spin out of control,” Netflix writes.
Alongside Holland, Joanna Kulig, Amandla Stenberg, Leila Bekhti and Tahar Rahim star in The Eddy. Check out the first trailer from Netflix before it debuts on May 8, 2020.
