While starring in one of the hottest videos of the past year, balancing being married to an NBA champion and a full-time mom, R&B singer Teyana Taylor doesn’t plan on fading away any time soon.
On January 25 Reebok announced that the Harlem native is the newest member to join their family and will serve as an official brand ambassador joining the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future and Gigi Hadid.
The G.O.O.D Music singer has had everyone talking since she showed off her killer dance moves and abs in Kanye West’s “Fade” video last Fall. As a fitspiration to many, Taylor will serve as the face of the re-release of the Reebok Classic Freestyle Hi also known as the “54-11s,” the first fitness sneaker to be designed specifically for women.
The 26-year old has quite the year ahead of her as she recently appeared in a Vogue Magazine short clip to promote her Fade 2 Fitness workout gear and will star in Vh1’s “The Breaks” coming next month.
In a recent interview with Elle, Taylor reminisces about rocking her 54-11s as a kid to now being the face of the brand calling it “a dream come true.”
Taylor credits Reebok for pushing the envelope for women’s fashion, stating that their 54-11 collection “opened the door to get more creative with women’s sneakers.”
