It’s been a long time coming for New York native, Teyana Taylor. The public was first introduced to Taylor through an episode of MTV’s Sweet Sixteen series back in 2007. Since then Taylor has worked way up through the entertainment industry through singles like “Google Me”, appearances in Jay-Z’s “Blue Magic Video and working with producers like Hit-Boy. In each production Taylor has touched, she has given her own unique flavor to it. Most recently, Taylor made her mark in the R&B game with her album, VII. With features from Pusha T and production from Boi-1da, her work on that album put listeners on notice that Taylor was more than a teenage star.
Returning from her four year layoff, Taylor is back with KTSE. Finishing off the G.O.O.D Music run, Taylor’s eight-track project features Kanye West and writing from Ty Dolla $ign, Darkchild, Tony Williams, 070 Shake and more. Complete with production from Kanye West, the project does a great job of showing off Taylor’s ability to evolve from teenage talent to adult R&B superstar. Early standouts from Taylor’s KTSE include “Rose In Harlem” and “3 Way”. For a full listen of Taylor’s KTSE, look for the stream above.
