The Houston Texans have been really busy to start the new league year. NFL media insider Ian Rapoport has reported that Houston has landed Chiefs guard Jeff Allen.

Later Mike Garafolo added that the deal is worth $28 million over the course of 4 years. Allen was graded as the 10th best guard according to Pro Football Focus last season. This move becomes important after the team lost Brandon Brooks and center Ben Jones in free agency this season. Houston was able to keep Chris Clark on the other hand providing tackle depth.
Allen, 26, spent four years in KC after the team selected him in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Kansas City also lost Donald Stephenson to the Denver Broncos putting major question marks around their offensive line.
After landing Brock Osweiler, Lamar Millar and now Jeff Allen, former Houston GM Charlie Casserly may have put it best.
