Terry Stotts, Mike Budenholzer Named NBA Coaches Of The Month
Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts was named NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month for December. Stotts leads a Portland team that’s tied for best wins (26) and has the second best record in the league at 26-8. The Trail Blazers went 13-3 in December with a 7-3 record on the road and 6-0 at home.
Atlanta Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer was named NBA Eastern Conference Coach of the month for December. Budenholzer led the Hawks to a 14-2 record in December including wins against the Clippers, Bulls, Cavaliers (twice), Rockets, Trail Blazers and Mavericks. Atlanta had a franchise-best win percentage in December (.875) under Budenholzer.
