A pre-trial hearing for the federal case against Tekashi 6ix9ine did not end in the Nine Trey Gang’s favor. Lance Lazzaro, a lawyer defending the rapper gets benched. The judge ruled Lazzaro must be removed pending possible conflict of interest.
The decision came following the Judge learning Lazzaro previously represented Tekashi 6ix9ine’s co-defendants in this case. Both Faheem “Crippy” Walter and Kifano “Shotti” Jordan were represented by Lazarro years back reports XXL.
Since news broke, Tekashi 6ix9ine pleaded not guilty to the federal racketeering and firearms charge brought against him. If convicted on all charges, the Dummy Boy rapper faces over 30 years behind bars.
The next pre-trial conference takes place Feb 27. The trial date is set for Sept. 4.
